Sally Malone
Sally is an urban and landscape designer with over 20-years’ experience working across both private and local government sectors. She has worked in a number of roles as diverse as managing construction of large-scale urban public places to implementing designs for small regional shires and private residences.
Her design practice is based in Albany, and Sally has a particular interest in the issues that rural, regional and remote communities face in conserving, adapting, interpreting and celebrating their heritage and culture. She brings experience to the Council in regard to issues around: heritage sites, their settings and context; landscapes and gardens; the role of tourism in heritage and culture; urban design and development guidelines for heritage places; and, the broader contexts of townscapes and street frontages.
Having served on a number of national, state and community based boards, she has a strong background in stewardship and an insight into managing change and development across a number of sectors.
